Chateau Lynch Moussas 2025
Pauillac
Decanter: Clean fragrance on the nose, black fruit and wild purple flowers with some creamy chocolate and vanilla touches. Round and filling, but less fleshy than Les Hauts, more taught and streamlined with focus and bite to the Cab strawberry and black currant fruit - pure and precise - with a lick of liquorice, graphite, cedar, tobacco, cigar, salt, flint and clove spice. Serious but with charm. Mint, freshness, a real Pauillac wine with strength but not too muscular."

Chateau Lynsolence 2025
Saint Emilion
Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Lynsolence (100% Merlot) slowly unfurls to reveal evocative notes of black cherry compote and blueberry pie, plus hints of menthol, licorice, and charcoal. The medium- to full-bodied palate has tight-knit black and blue fruit with a crisp backbone and fine-grained tannins, finishing fragrant. The alcohol is 14%."

Chateau Maillet 2025
Pomerol
The Wine Cellar Insider: The perfume opens with flowers, licorice, mint, cocoa, and plums. From there, it is the fresh, supple, creamy, lifted, pit fruits, berries, and dark chocolate nuances that grab your attention, and keep it. You can enjoy this with just a year or two of bottle aging and enjoy it over the following 20 or more years. Drink from 2028-2047."

Margaux
Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Malescot St. Exupéry prances out with gregarious notes of juicy blueberries and black raspberries, leading to hints of violets, mossy tree bark, and camphor. The medium-bodied palate is intense with shimmery blue and red berry flavors, supported by ripe, fine-grained tannins and great tension, finishing long and perfumed. Stunning!"

Chateau Margaux - Pavillon Rouge 2025
Margaux
Jane Anson: Flavoursome, this is luscious and juicy, with the concentration and ripeness that I was expecting in more of the wines this year. Rose petals, damson, slate, crayon, cocoa bean, mint, DNA of the Margaux appellation on display. Just 2018 and 2022 were higher numbers in terms of phenolic compounds, and the 3.68ph is still low, but the perception is far less intense than in many properties. 22hl/ha yield across the vineyard, harvest September 8 for young Merlot, then Cabernet Sauvignon began September 19 and finished September 29. IPT 78. 28% of the overall production."

Chateau Margaux - Pavillon Blanc 2025
Margaux
Jeb Dunnuck: All Sauvignon Blanc raised in 20% new barriques, the 2025 Château Margaux Pavillon Blanc checks in at 14% alcohol with a pH of 3.14. It has a riper-than-usual nose of citrus, honeyed lemon, white flowers, and chalky minerality, and on the palate, it's rich, pure, and concentrated, with remarkable depth and focus. As always, this is a brilliant, singular, absolutely riveting expression of Sauvignon Blanc."

Chateau Margaux 2025
Margaux
Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Zart floral unterlegte reife Herzkirschen, feines Cassis, Rosenblätter, facettenreiches Bukett, ein Hauch von Edelholz, vielschichtige Aromatik. Stoffig, elegant, feine Extraktsüße, feine Frucht, seidige, tragende Tannine, ungemein komplex, mineralisch, frisch strukturiert, bleibt minutenlang haften, sicheres Reifepotenzial für viele Jahrzehnte.

Chateau Marquis d´Alesme Becker 2025
Margaux
Jane Anson: Closed on the nose, elegant with fine but plentiful tannins that layer up fast in the palate. Violet and peony floral notes, clear savoury edge of blue fruits this is precise, well structured, huge potential for ageing but also for pleasure. Yield 32 hl/ha. Harvest September 10 to 24. 45% new oak. 3.6 pH, one vat with whole bunch fermentation (4% of the blend). No need to green harvest because yields so naturally low. Marjolaine Maurice de Coninck technical director."

James Suckling: Fresh and refined, with polished tannins and a precise nature. It’s medium-bodied with a caressing finish. Harmonious for such a young wine."

Chateau Mauvesin Barton 2025
Moulis
Decanter: Lovely cool and crisp aromas with charcoal, cola, blueberries and a hint of iris. Softly chewy but really juicy with a strawberry fruit core and chalky tannins that spread out across the mouth. A little short perhaps in terms of fruit intensity, a bit firm and serious still, but this should round out nicely with such piercing acidity and purity of fruit. Really very easy to approach. Nothing out of balance. A great-value pick that really delivers a classic Bordeaux aspect. A yield of 34hl/ha."
