VINUM: "Im Duft klar und rein wie ein Bergbach, strahlende Cabernet-Frucht, Veilchen, Brombeeren, Cassis, subtile Röstnoten; am Gaumen feingliedrig, dabei mit Dichte, knackige Frucht, seidige Gerbstoffe, sehr Pauillac, sehr elegant; endet langanhaltend auf Sauerkirschen und Blutorangen."

ANSON: "Cloves and white truffle dominate the opening moments of the wine, and this is sappy and slatey with plenty of bright blueberry and red cherry fruits, good depth and texture. A lovely wine, if shorter through the finish than in recent vintages. Harvest 24 September to 19 October. 3.66 pH. 30% new oak for ageing."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Showing a nice depth of color, the wine exudes flowers, currants, cigar box, and cedar in the perfume. Fresh, and creamy on the palate, the wine delivers its layers of cassis, with only a hint of leafy herbs which do not show up until the end of the finish. This is quite successful for the vintage. Give it a few years in the cellar, and enjoy it over the following 2 or more decades. The wine blends 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. 13% ABV. 57% of the harvest was placed into the Grand Vin. Harvesting took place September 24 - October 7. Drink from 2028-2045."
