James Suckling: Medium- to full-bodied, with a foot on the fuller end of the spectrum. Textured but with a linear thread of acidity that makes it a joy to taste. Brilliant wine, with a combination of reduction and texture. Very salty on the finish."

Chateau Larrivet Haut Brion rouge 2025
Graves
Jeb Dunnuck: Sporting a deep purple hue, the 2025 Château Larrivet Haut-Brion has classic aromatics of cassis, spring flowers, spicy wood, and graphite. Based on 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, and 22% Cabernet Franc, with the Cabernets raised in 50% new and once-used barrels and 5% of the Merlot aged in terracotta amphorae, I love its purity and vibrancy. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, layered mouthfeel, fine, polished tannins, and a great finish. I'd buy it."

Chateau Lascombes 2025
Margaux
James Suckling: Extremely sophisticated and refined, with fine tannins and a long finish. Medium-bodied, polished and pretty. Currant, blackberry and cherry undertones. Seriously crafted. One of the best ever."

Chateau Latour a Pomerol 2025
Pomerol
Falstaff: Dunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.

Chateau Latour Martillac Blanc 2025
Graves
James Suckling: A chiseled, medium- to full-bodied wine combining texture and fruit, with acidity that brings cohesion and depth complemented by good concentration."

Chateau Latour Martillac 2025
Graves
Decanter: This wine evinces pleasing refinement, with clean fruit and a composed feel on the palate. Aromas of ripe cherry and blackberry come through clearly, complemented by subtle floral hints of violet, along with touches of vanilla and a faint note of eucalyptus leaf. The attack is supple and well-defined, with a slightly austere edge at this stage that should integrate further with barrel ageing (16 months, 35% new oak). There’s an appealing interplay of red and black fruit, giving the mid-palate a vibrant, lifted character, supported by fine, velvety tannins that lend structure without heaviness. Despite the warmth of the vintage, the wine retains a welcome freshness, bringing tension and precision. The finish is harmonious and clean, if not especially long, but it remains elegant and well-balanced overall."

Chateau Le Bon Pasteur 2025
Pomerol
Jeb Dunnuck: A Merlot-dominant blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc that will spend 15 months in 50% new barrels and amphora, the 2025 Château Le Bon Pasteur offers cassis, exotic cherries, baking spices, and dried flowers on the nose. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, layered, graceful mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and a great finish. Hitting 14% alcohol, it's beautifully balanced, textured, and graceful, with an already complex, undeniably delicious, sexy style that's impossible to resist. It's one of the top vintages for this château."

Chateau Le Boscq 2025
Saint Estephe
Jane Anson: This has got to be one of the most consistent estates in Bordeaux, and again in 2025 is impressive, enjoyable, powerful and concentrated, with lift and kick. You need to give this a few moments in the glass to unfold, because there is a lot of potential and power, then shows saffron, redcurrant, cassis and bilberry fruit, grilled capsicum pepper with a juicy sign off. Harvest September 5 to 22. 23% new oak. Tasted twice. 41hl/ha yield. Clear ageing potential."

Chateau Le Gay 2025
Pomerol
Jeb Dunnuck: Cassis, exotic red and blue fruits, spring flowers, graphite, and some chocolaty nuances all emerge from the 2025 Château Le Gay, a beautiful Pomerol based on 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc that will spend 14 months in new barrels. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, graceful mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and a great finish. It might be one of the finest vintages of this cuvée I've tasted, so hats off to the team here."

Chateau Le Pape 2025

Chateau Le Pin Beausoleil 2025
Bordeaux Superieur
INGRID HALLEK. ANTONIO GALLONI auszugsweise: „…the 2025 is one of the hidden gems in this vintage …“ Lediglich 17,90 Euro kostet Sie 2025 CHATEAU LE PIN BEAUSOLEIL, die 12er Original-Holzkiste 214,80 Euro, besser und günstiger können Sie großartige Weine nicht trinken!

Chateau Le Plus de La Fleur de Bouard 2025
Lalande de Pomerol
Jeb Dunnuck: All Merlot brought up mostly in new barrels, the 2025 Château La Fleur De Boüard Le Plus is another elegant expression of this cuvée (I sometime miss the opulence of older vintages here). Black raspberries, graphite, violets, classy oak, and a beautiful chalky minerality all define the nose, and it's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a pure, focused mouthfeel and fine tannins. It shows the style of the vintage beautifully."

Chateau Le Prieure 2025
Saint Emilion
James Suckling: A fresh and vivid red with blueberries, light chocolate and hazelnut aromas and flavors. Medium body, fine tannins and bright acidity. Precise and curated. Energized at the end. Fantastic this year. pH 3.3. A blend of 97% merlot and 3% cabernet franc."

Chateau Le Thil 2025
Pessac Leognan
James Suckling: Precise and medium- to full-bodied, showing a focused, almost fibrous structure, polished tannins with a touch of granularity, and linear dark fruit."

Chateau Leoville Barton 2025
Saint Julien

Chateau Leoville Las Cases - Le Petit Lion 2025
Saint Julien
Jane Anson: Concentrated, a ton of sleek graphite, crayon, liqourice root, we are fully in the heart of Las Cases here, with its grip and slow climb through the palate, on the right side of austere, cocoa bean and cassis, a full mouth experience, push and pull, tension and grip. A fabulous 2nd wine, right up there with the best of the vintage. Michael Georges technical director. 30% new oak for ageing. Includes the vines for La Petite Marquise since the 2021 vintage."

Chateau Leoville Las Cases 2025
Saint Julien

Chateau Leoville Poyferre 2025
Saint Julien
Decanter: An extremely captivating Poyferré this year. Beautiful vivid and vibrant colour in the glass with soft rose and violets on the nose. Juicy and alive, immediately so charming, chewy, fleshy but cool and stony. Mouthfilling with licks of liquorice, tobacco, cola and hints of clove. I love the restraint on show - this is still a powerful wine but so much more relaxed than it could have been. Graceful yet impactful, full of ripe fruit with such a generous and happy attitude. I love it. Potential upscore in bottle. A yield of 20hl/ha, one of the smallest yields. Owner Sara spoke of lower fermentation temperatures, shorter macerations and shorter pumping-over to keep soft tannins. No deleafing, kept cover crops and used cold rooms to let grapes cool before optical sorting, especially for the more fragile Petit Verdot. Julien Viaud consultant. 5% Petit Verdot completes the blend."

Chateau Les Carmes Haut Brion 2025
Graves
Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.

Chateau Les Cruzelles 2025
Lalande de Pomerol
Jeb Dunnuck: Compared to the La Chenade, the 2025 Château Les Cruzelles is often more structured and serious in style. It's another Pomerol look-alike that brings ample structure, medium-bodied richness, a nicely focused mouthfeel, and beautiful aromatics of ripe blue fruits, spring flowers, violets, and chocolate on the nose. It's another brilliant wine in the lineup from this family estate."

Chateau Les Grands Chenes 2025
Medoc
James Suckling: A red with plenty of presence for the appellation, with blackberry, black olive and chocolate character. Medium-bodied with chewy tannins and a juicy finish. Shows depth."

Chateau Les Gravieres 2025
Saint Emilion
Jeb Dunnuck: Checking in as 100% Merlot aged 14 months in 60% new oak, the 2025 Château Les Gravières offers juicy black cherries, black raspberries, spicy wood, graphite, and liquid violet notes. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has a concentrated, focused, elegant mouthfeel, polished yet solid tannins, and a gorgeous finish."

Chateau Lespault Martillac blanc 2025
Pessac Leognan
Lisa Perrotti-Brown: The 2025 Lespault-Martillac Blanc races out with bold notes of fresh pineapples and passion fruit, followed by hints of cedar, waxed lemons, and lime blossoms. The medium-bodied palate is racy with a chalky texture and exotic fruit layers, finishing with a zesty lift. The blend is 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Sémillon. The alcohol is 13%."

Chateau Lespault Martillac 2025
Pessac Leognan
Jeb Dunnuck: A Merlot-dominant blend of 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Petit Verdot, the 2025 Château Lespault-Martillac is a gorgeous effort that's well worth your time and money. The nose reveals notes of ripe blackcurrants, spicy wood, and savory tobacco and herbal nuances. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, layered, graceful mouthfeel, terrific balance, and a great finish. It checks in at 13% alcohol with a pH of 3.61."

Chateau Lilian Ladouys 2025
Saint Estephe
Jane Anson: Glass-staining purple colours, this is well rounded, lovely balance, firm tannins that take on more of a bite as things climb through the palate. Structured, enjoyable, cassis and sandalwood. 30% new oak, Eric Boissenot consultant. Certified organic since 2024 vintage."

Chateau Lucia 2025
Saint Emilion
Decanter: Heady scents on the nose, perfumed blackcurrants. Grippy tannins but with such a soft and bouncy frame and lively and cool blue fruit. Playful and charming, nothing too much here, with an easy-drinking quality. I really like this, it has plenty of flavour with some creamy strawberry, chalky cranberry and perfumed blackcurrants alongside a wet stone grip. Something quite hands off about it. Yet still with power and push."

Chateau Lusseau 2025
Saint Emilion
Decanter: Fragranced violet aromas on the nose. Purity and clarity on the palate, lovely crisp blue fruit with very gently grippy tannins that give a touch of cushioning as well as lots of stony minerality - chalky, powdery and flint. Not super harmonious but this has a clear stone hold in the mouth with a fresh mint and dried herb aspect that lingers. I quite like its personality. Ripe, fresh and focused."

Chateau Lynch Bages 2025
Pauillac
James Suckling: Lots of great energy, with a precision and focus that sends you down the road to gorgeous dark fruits and mineral nuances. A cool, minty note. Medium- to full-bodied. Racy and intense, with a lightness at the end. Juicy fruit, too. A blend of 66% cabernet sauvignon, 28% merlot, 3% cabernet franc and 3% petit verdot."

Chateau Lynch Bages blanc 2025
Pauillac
James Suckling: A tight and solid wine with phenolic tension and bright acidity. Medium body, with sliced green apples and pears, with hints of honeysuckle, as well as mineral and sea salt undertones. Crunchy finish. A blend of 60% sauvignon blanc, 24% semillon, 11% muscadelle and 5% sauvignon gris. Drink now."

Chateau Lynch Bages - Echo 2025
Pauillac
Jane Anson: Deep and rich in colour. Structured, toasted spice, dark chocolate, espresso, graphite, mint leaf. Great stuff, easy to recommend, one to look out for. 3.60 pH. 20% new oak. Harvest September 9 to 21. A far clearer link with the main Lynch Bages estate than many 2nd wines in the vintage, and one of the 'sibling' wines of the vintage. Nicolas Labenne technical director."
