VINUM: "Strahlendes Rubinrot und mit grosser Komplexität im Duft, subtile Röstnoten, kühler Ausdruck, florale Noten, Koriandersamen, deutlich mineralisch geprägt, viel Tiefgang; der Gaumen ist cremig im Auftakt, dann wird der Wein schlanker, baut jedoch Druck auf, feine Textur, delikate, perfekt reife Frucht, die Tannine begleiten den Wein vom Anfang bis zum Ende, sie sind stets präsent, dominieren nie, sehr langer, rotfruchtiger Abgang. Ein Wein von tänzerischer Eleganz und mit sehr langem Abgang. Hervorragend gelungen, gehört zum Besten, was das rechte Ufer dieses Jahr produziert hat."

Medium-bodied, fresh, mineral-driven cherries, red plums, cocoa, and spices provide an upbeat, vibrant, refined wine with a refreshing touch of salty-mints that comes in at the back of the long finish. There is purity, length, and energy in the finish that you easily sense as it lingers. The wine blends 85% Merlot with 15% Cabernet Franc. 13.4% ABV. Drink from 2028-2045."

THE WINE ADVOCATE: "The 2024 Larcis Ducasse was showing well during our tasting, revealing ripe, expressive aromas of violet, dark berries, smoke, pencil lead and subtle oak. Medium to full-bodied, layered and seamless, it is both lively and elegant with a juicy core of fruit and velvety tannins that gently assert themselves on the youthfully chalky finish. The fruit appears perfectly ripe—avoiding the over-ripeness observed in some recent vintages—allowing the wine to convey the character of its limestone terroir. The blend is composed of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc."
