Saftig, rote Kirschen, lebendiges Säuregerüst, reife Tannine, frische, anregende Struktur, mineralisch-zitronig, zeigt Länge und Potenzial."

JAMES SUCKLING: "This is so muscular yet elegant, with super-intense tannins that make the finish leaner but so long. The character of blackberry and lead pencil is intense. Goes on for minutes. 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc."

JAMES SUCKLING: "A full and juicy red with plum, chocolate, and toasted oak that impress right away. It’s layered and intense with lots of flavor at the finish, going on for minutes. Better than 2022."

JAMES SUCKLING: "Very refined and classy, with ultra-fine tannins and blackcurrant and hazelnut character, suggesting very pure fruit and precise picking times. Medium-bodied and chewy, yet caressing."

Seit 1999 wird Chateau Senejac von der Familie Bignon Cordier bewirtschaftet, die auch die Besitzer des berühmten Château Talbot sind. Es gehört zu den bekanntesten Chateaus des Haut-Medoc, die nicht klassifiziert sind. FALSTAFF: "Mittleres Goldgelb, silberfarbene Reflexe. Zart floral, weiße Tropenfrucht, etwas Pfirsich, ein Hauch von Mango. Kräftig, präsentes Holz, weißer Pfeffer, reifes Steinobst, opulente Süße, noch nicht ganz in der Balance, wird von Reife profitieren."

JAMES SUCKLING: "Wow. This is really well done with plenty of al-dente fruit character, bright acidity and firm, fine tannins that are already well integrated. Medium-bodied. Crunchy."

JAMES SUCKLING: "Another exceptional vintage for Smith-Haut-Lafite Blanc. It’s so complex and structured, offering a palate that feels similar to the texture of a red wine with a velvety tannin structure. There’s a lot going on here. Spice, crushed seashell and citrus blossom. Salty, too. Weightless and so long. 90% sauvignon blanc, 5% sauvignon gris and 5% semillon."

JAMES SUCKLING: "This has a big structure of polished tannins that are energetic and punchy. Medium to full body with beautiful blackcurrants, as well as dark tobacco and wet earth. Chewy at the end, but a pointed and focused finish. More structured than 2022. 60% cabernet sauvignon and 40% merlot. From organically grown grapes."
