Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Saint-Pierre slowly emerges from the glass with delicate, fragrant notes of fresh black and red currants and violets, followed by hints of graphite and wild sage. The medium-bodied palate is tightly wound and intense with soft-spoken savory and mineral-laced black fruit layers, framed by firm, grainy tannins and a refreshing line, finishing long and perfumed. This is a gorgeous, understated beauty! The blend is 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot. The alcohol is 13%."

James Suckling: A flavorful, precise and well-composed red consisting of 85% merlot and 15% cabernet franc. It has aromas of wild currants and some game. Medium-bodied with chalky tannins and texture. Juicy at its core with a solid frame of well-polished tannins and a succulent, long finish."

Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.

Jane Anson: Rose bud, cassis fruits, cocoa bean, intense if a little closed on the finish, feels in keeping with the Pomerol character of the vintage, where the intensity needs a little time to unwind. Pradel de Lavaux family. Harvest September 4 to 17, 25hl/ha yields. 3ha estate, 10% whole bunches for vinification, aged in both barrels (40% new) and 33% amphora. 3.6ph."

Decanter: Cool and crisp in terms of fruit - light blueberry elements with real cool freshness and gripping tannins. A much lighter style in terms of fruit, maybe a touch dry towards the finish. In a way it’s hands off but it’s just firm and tight right now on the texture side. Will be good to taste after ageing. 3.7pH. Ageing 14 months, 33% new barrels, 33% one year, 34% amphoras."
