Chateau Suduiraut 2025
Sauternes
The Wine Cellar Insider: The intense aromatic profile is created from honeyed apricots, pineapples, candied citrus, roasted nuts and saffron. On the palate, the interplay between sweet, spicy and bitter is perfectly framed by the wealth of ripe, very ripe, and overripe pineapples, apricots, vanilla, saffron, oranges, and mango that coat every part of your palate with flavor. The finish starts off with peppery spice before building to its crescendo of sweet, honeyed fruits. While this promises to be fabulous in its youth, the wine can age for decades. The wine was made from 100% Semillon. 13.5% ABV, 4.04 pH, 158 grams per liter of sugar. Drink from 2029-2065."

Chateau Taillefer 2025
Pomerol
Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Taillefer offers notes of baked plums and boysenberry preserves, giving way to suggestions of dried herbs, crushed rocks, and hoisin. The medium- to full-bodied palate delivers bright acidity with a lightly chewy texture and stewed black fruit flavors, finishing spicy. The blend is % Merlot. The alcohol is %."

Chateau Talbot 2025
Saint Julien
James Suckling: This is juicy and incisive, with expressive dark fruit and fine-grained, almost grainy tannins. A savory quality in the long finish. Persistent and cohesive."

Chateau Talbot - Caillou Blanc de Chateau Talbot 2025
Saint Julien

Chateau Tauzinat l`Hermitage 2025
Saint Emilion
Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, dezente Randaufhellung. Floraler Touch, kandierte Veilchen, frische Kirschenfrucht, einladendes Bukett. Saftig, elegant, reife Pflaumen, feine Tannine, etwas Nougat, bleibt haften, zeigt Reifepotenzial."

Chateau Tertre Roteboeuf 2025
Saint Emilion
Jane Anson: This is right up there at the top of the vintage, there is still the roasted plum aspect of Tertre Roteboeuf but you feel the juice and salinity of the vintage running through it. These guys stick to their beliefs and their style, and we are all the better for it. 14, 3.8ph. September 23, earlier than usual. 100% new oak."

Chateau Tour de Pez 2025
Saint Estephe
The Wine Cellar Insider: Medium-bodied, fruity, forward, and juicy, the black currants, and blackberries are ripe, fleshy, and round-textured. The creamy finish continues along the same vein with more of those sweet, vibrant, dark berries. This will be just great with a year or two of aging. Drink from 2029-2042."

Chateau Tour Maillet 2025
Pomerol
Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Schwarze Kirschen, feine Zwetschkenfrucht, kandierte Orangenzesten, einladendes Bukett. Chateau Tour Saint Christophe 2025
Saint Emilion

Chateau Troplong Mondot 2025
Saint Emilion
Wine Advocate: Picked between August 28 and September 25 (surely one of the broadest ranges in Bordeaux this year, but logical considering the estate's different altitudes and aspects), the 2025 Troplong Mondot is one of the wines of the vintage. Exhibiting a deep bouquet of blackberries and plums complemented by floral accents of lilac, iris and subtle spices, it's full-bodied, deep and dense, with a brooding core of fruit girdled by bright acids and sweet but abundant tannins. A blend of 85% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc, it will rival the 2022, though in vintage signature the two years are very different."

Chateau Trotanoy 2025
Pomerol

Chateau Trotte Vieille 2025
Saint Emilion
James Suckling: Extremely fine tannins that fade into the palate, with seductive dark fruit flavors and a citrus aftertaste. It’s all about elegance and structure in this wine. 51% cabernet franc, 46% merlot and 3% cabernet sauvignon."

Chateau Valandraud - Virginie de Valandraud 2025
Saint Emilion
Decanter: Plums, cherries and blackcurrant leaf aromas, vanilla, cream, cinnamon. Supple and alive, this has energy and push - flesh and acidity - so there’s focus and brightness with a lovely firm structure. Great length and focus. Nothing out of place here, so round, so balanced, so drinkable. A really compelling Virginie this year - subtle, finessed, elegant, juicy and so charming. Wow this really brings a smile to your face. The last vintage made under the ownership of Jean-Luc Thunevin who has sold his majority share to Christophe and Marie Lefévère (Château Sansonnet, Château Moulin du Cadet, Château Villemaurine)."

Chateau Valandraud 2025
Saint Emilion

Chateau Valandraud - Virginie de Valandraud Blanc 2025
Saint Emilion
Decanter: Candied lemons, some baked apples, hints of peach and some fragrant floral touches. Streamlined and focused, this has a lovely fresh and energetic core with crisp apple and lemon but balanced by a slightly textured mouthfeel. Mouthwatering, Fresh, precise but not at all tart. A softly baked element and slightly creamy vanilla touch on the finish adds softness and roundness. Elegant. 3.25pH. 70% ageing in new oak, 500 and 400l barrels."

Chateau Valandraud Blanc 2025
Saint Emilion
Jeb Dunnuck: A thrilling, world-class white, the 2025 Valandraud Blanc has a vivid gold hue with subtle green highlights as well as an absolutely stunning nose of ripe pear, lime pith, exotic melon, mint, and crushed stone. The grand vin here sees 30% amphora aging (only for the gris) with the rest raised in new oak in a mix of vessels. It's beautifully textured and medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a layered, concentrated mouthfeel, bright acidity, and a great finish. It's as good as anything in the vintage."

Chateau Vieux Maillet 2025
Pomerol
Jeb Dunnuck: Jammy cherries, framboise, spice, and graphite all define the 2025 Château Vieux Maillet, a blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It's medium-bodied on the palate, focused, and nicely balanced, with integrated tannins. It's rock solid and should easily be outstanding."

Chateau Villars 2025
Fronsac
Decanter: Inviting aromas of ripe red and black fruit with fresh cut grass and hints of mint presage a broad attack and juicy mid palate before the wine finds itself caught in a vise of tannin. While not austere, the tannin is felt, via extractions including a 23-day maceration with daily pump-overs and a fermentation temperature of 28°C. Barrel aging should loosen the grip, but let's wait for how the wine will perform from bottle."
