Vinum: Reiffruchtig, jedoch nicht gekocht, wie in anderen Jahren, dunkle Frucht, Pflaumen, Kräuter und subtile Röstnoten; opulenter Gaumen, viel Frucht, wirkt saftiger und deutlich frischer als üblich, die Tannine sind markant, verleihen Grip, noch immer wuchtig im Charakter, jedoch mit einem erfreulich kühlen Kern. Wie schon 2023, ausgezeichnet."

Jeb Dunnuck: A Cabernet-dominant blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot that's being raised in 40% new barriques with the balance in once-used barrels, the 2025 Château Monbrison is a beautiful Margaux offering ample red, blue, and black fruits, spicy wood, and floral aromatics. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it's nicely balanced, has ripe tannins, and integrated acidity. Checking in at 13.5% alcohol with a pH of 3.5, it's a terrific 2025 that does everything right."

Decanter: Smoky and floral with violets and dark chocolate. A lot of class on the palate, beautiful concentration, dark berries, coffee, chocolate and floral notes. Complete and already accessible with ultra-polished, silky tannins. Kudos!"

Jane Anson: Pumice stone, grilled bright fruits, so much character, a deliciously slow crawl across the palate, and so juicy at the same time, blood orange, pomegranate, moreish. 60% new oak. Harvest September 9 to 20, low ph of course on this high limestone plateau, love the energy that this wine gives you. 3.2ph (at harvest, now 3.4ph), Noémie Durantou winemaker."

Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Kandierte Veilchen, Rosenduft, feines Cassis, ungemein verführerisch, zarte Edelholznote, schwarze Waldbeeren unterlegt. Komplex, stoffig, hochelegant, frisch strukturiert, reife, tragende Tannine, Brombeeren, Nougat und Kirschen im Abgang, bleibt lange haften, sicheres Reifepotenzial."

Jeb Dunnuck: A Merlot-heavy blend of 82% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc, mostly from clay and limestone soils and resting in 30% new oak with 20% foudre, the 2025 La Dame De Montrose is medium-bodied, round, and supple, with a beautiful sense of elegance. Ripe framboise, juicy currants, violets, and sappy flower nuances all shine on the nose, and it's almost impossible to resist today, with remarkable purity and gorgeous tannins."

Falstaff: Dunkles Rubingranat, tiefer Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Florale Nuancen, zart nach Lakritze und reifen Zwetschken, schwarzes Waldbeerkonfit unterlegt. Saftig, elegant, süße Kirschenfrucht, integrierte Tannine, gute Frische, bleibt haften, ein stoffiger Speisenbegleiter, hat Charme und Würze."

Vinum: Tiefdunkle Farbe, schwarze Beerenfrucht, Pflaumen, Weihnachtsgewürze, dunkle Schokolade, Tabaknoten; dichter Gaumen, fast schon zwei Mund voll Wein, die reife Frucht wird von pudrigen Tanninen getragen, mächtig, dennoch mit Eleganz und einem langen, salinen Finish. Finessenreicher als auch schon, wird hervorragend reifen."

James Suckling: Precise and focused, with chalky tannins and fine acidity, leading to an almost effervescent, saline finish."

James Suckling: A serious Aile d'Argent with sliced green mangoes, pears and green apples. Full-bodied. Framed with phenolics and minerals. Complex and real. A touch of flint and cedar at the end. Super finish. A blend of 63% sauvignon blanc, 29% semillion, 7% sauvignon gris and 1% muscadelle."

James Suckling: Open and juicy with a plush nature as well as a noticeable ripeness, yet it's only 13% alcohol. Medium- to full-bodied with fine, velvety tannins and a savory, flavorful finish. Juicy and layered. Structured. Plenty of blackberry and blueberry character. A blend of 58% cabernet sauvignon, 36% merlot, 3% cabernet franc and 3% petit verdot."

James Suckling: Aromas of stones, saffron, mushrooms and a dusty nuance. Lush and sweet yet with definition, supported by an attractive saline component and a stony texture in the finish. Intense sweetness. 100% semillon with 175 g/L residual sugar."

James Suckling: A fresh and vivid second wine of Nenin with aromas of sliced strawberries, cherries and some hazelnuts. Medium-bodied with fine, integrated tannins and a juicy finish. 91% merlot and 9% cabernet franc."

Vinum: Kühl, rauchig, floral, grüner Apfel, Lavendel, weisser Pfirsich; knackig am Gaumen, delikate Frucht, markante, dabei gut balancierte Säure, hallt lange nach und endet sehr salin. Ein Wein voller Energie und mit guten Reserven."

James Suckling: A medium-bodied red with fine tannins and plenty of spice and fruit, with a real sense of St.-Estephe. Juicy and long. Delicious already for barrel. A blend of 58% merlot, 35% cabernet sauvignon, 4% cabernet franc and 3% petit verdot."
