Im Rahmen eines Mittagessens am 22.04.2026 mit SASKIA DE ROTSCHSCHILD waren wir auf CHATEAU EVANGILE eingeladen. Zuvor jedoch stand die Verkostung des Hausweins an, 2025 CHATEAU EVANGILE. Was nämlich JULIETTE COUDREC, die technische Leiterin, im Jahrgang 2025 vinifizierte, ist beeindruckend! Und liebe Weinfreunde, der Preis ist auf dem Niveau des Jahrganges 2024 verblieben, dies bei höheren Bewertungen. 132,90 Euro, nochmals zum Vergleich, der Jahrgang 2022 kostete 309,00 Euro! Alleine drei Bewertungen bis 98 PUNKTE, weitere drei Bewertungen bis 97 PUNKTE adeln diesen Pomerol zu einem der besten EVANGILE, der jemals produziert wurde. 805,20 Euro kostet Sie eine Original 3er-Magnum Holzkiste.

James Suckling: Medium- to full-bodied and chalky but charming, with definition and clarity. 75% merlot and 25% cabernet franc. Best ever."

Vinum: Reiffruchtig, Himbeergelée, auch dunkle Früchte, etwas Mokka, darüber florale Noten und Sahne; cremiger Gaumen, zeigt Schmelz und eine satte Frucht, diese wird von feinkörnigen Tanninen und einer markanten Säure gekontert, kräftig, dennoch elegant und mit rotfruchtigem Finish. Ein finessenreicher und charmanter La Cabanne."

Was MARIELLE CAZAUX aus diesem Weingut in Zusammenarbeit mit THOMAS DUCLOS geformt hat, ist ein absoluter blue-chip, im r würde man von einem triple-A sprechen. Wir waren zwei Mal vor Ort, und dieser Wein ist die Perfektion in Flaschen. Diese Frucht und Aromentiefe, gepaart mit derart perfekten Tanninen, Terroirnoten und einer Säure auf Referenzlevel formt einen multidimensionalen Pomerol, der eine Benchmark setzt. Ein Traumwein.

Chateau La Conseillante liegt in der Appellation Pomerol. Das Gutsgebäude von Chateau la Conseillante befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe der Grenze zur Appellation St. Emilion. Nachbargüter von la Conseillante sind die namhaften Chateaux Cheval Blanc, La Tour-Figeac, Vieux Château Certan und L´Evangile. Vinum: Feinduftig, dunkelfruchtig geprägt, präsente Röstnoten, Mokka, Schokolade, Kräuterwürze, Veilchen; am Gaumen samtig, cremig, reiffruchtig, ungemein delikat, man möchte gleich schlucken, feinste Tannine, perfekt dosierte Säure, das Holz kaum wahrnehmbar, viel Charme und sehr gute Länge. Der eleganteste, präziseste und hochwertigste La Croix de Gay, den ich je verkosten durfte. Bravo!"

James Suckling: Structured and compact, with a medium to full body and chewy tannins. Well structured with a generous core of berries and spices on the palate. Compact finish. A solid blend of 96% merlot and 4% cabernet franc."

Jeb Dunnuck: Deep ruby/plum-hued, the 2025 Château De La Dauphine comes from a great estate in Fronsac that's well worth seeking out. Based on 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc that will spend 12 months in a mix of oak, foudres, and amphorae, it has remarkable purity in its black raspberry, cassis, graphite, and chocolaty, floral, exotic aromatics. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, graceful, layered mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and a great finish. It checks in at 14% alcohol with a pH of 3.5, and plays in the focused, pure, precise style of the vintage. It's beautifully done and should be snatched up by savvy readers."

Decanter: Another excellent vintage from this trusty estate. A cool crystalline nose, cola, liquorice, tar and blueberries. So clean and pure. Crisp and focused from the off, a cooling menthol and blackcurrant element, soft grippy tannins and the most beautiful juicy mid palate that just makes you smile. A happy wine. It’s powerful no doubt but in a restrained way without any heaviness. Vibrant and energetic. I love the focus, the freshness and relatively delicacy. Filing in the month but this is exceptional in terms of fruit purity. Very drinkable. A yield of 30hl/ha. 3.68pH."

Jeb Dunnuck: A Merlot-heavy blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc that will spend 14 months in 40% new barriques, the 2025 La Fleur D'Arthus shows complex red and black fruits on the nose supported by leather, sappy flowers, and camphor. Checking in at 14% alcohol with a pH of 3.70, it's medium-bodied on the palate, with a focused, elegant, nicely structured mouthfeel and outstanding length. It's very much in the focused, elegant, structured style of the vintage and is impressive."

Jeb Dunnuck: A beautiful, elegant Lalande-de-Pomerol, the 2025 Château La Fleur De Boüard is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc and has lots of ripe black fruits, crushed stone, and graphite on the nose. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with ripe tannins and the fresher, focused style of the vintage. It should be a smoking value."

James Suckling: Fruity, supple, velvety and refined, with a medium body and velvety tannins and texture. Balanced, very elegant and in control. Flavorful, lingering finish."

Preislich wie qualitativ ist dieser GAFFELEIRE eine Sensation. Seit 2017 geht hier richtig die Post ab. Die Lagen auf diesem Gut direkt unterhalb von Chateau Ausone bringen tiefe, reife und komplexe Weine hervor. Das Nasenparfüm setzt sich am Gaumen auf beeindruckende Art und Weise fort. Noten von reifem Cabernet Franc, Graphit, Schokolade und dezentes Holz, hier wird das volle Programm gespielt.
