Fährt man, wie wir von UNGER WEINE, seit 30 Jahren nach Bordeaux zu den Primeurverkostungen, hat man bei jedem Chateau eine gewisse Erwartungshaltung, bei CHATEAU HAUT BAILLY ist diese in jedem Jahrgang naturgemäß sehr hoch. Im Jahrgang 2025 allerdings waren wir komplett geflasht von diesem Wein, um im Sinne der heranwachsenden Generation zu formulieren: „…2025 CHATEAU HAUT BAILLY war so richtig krass...“
2025 CHATEAU HAUT BAILLY nämlich ist ein Traum und fĂĽr uns der BESTE Jahrgang, den wir jemals auf diesem Chateau verkostet haben, diese Kombination aus Reife, Frische und Leichtigkeit und all das zu einem Preis von 88,00 Euro. VERONIQUE SANDERS hat hier zusammen mit ihrem Team ganze Arbeit geleistet. Sehen Sie sich hierzu unbedingt unser Instagram-Video-Interview mit VERONIQUE SANDERS an. Unzählige Bewertungen bis 98, 99 oder 100 PUNKTE bestätigen die herausragende Qualität dieses Pessac, der sich so ungemein reif, schmeichelnd und charmant verkostete, dabei aber so frisch und voller Zug und Spannung war. Die Mengen jedoch waren mit 26hl/ha leider sehr klein, die Qualität aber herausragend. So geht Wein, und so spielt groĂźes Terroir im Einklang mit einem gefĂĽhlvollen Händchen zusammen, Kompliment an VERONIQUE und das Team! Wir haben 2025 CHEATEAU HAUT BAILLY auf unserer persönlichen BUCKET-LIST, denn fĂĽr 88,00 Euro (133,50 Euro im Jahrgang 2020) ist das ein Must-Buy, unsere Wahl - eine schicke 6er-Original-Holzkiste zu 533,40 Euro.Â

Lisa Perrotti-Brown: The 2025 Lespault-Martillac Blanc races out with bold notes of fresh pineapples and passion fruit, followed by hints of cedar, waxed lemons, and lime blossoms. The medium-bodied palate is racy with a chalky texture and exotic fruit layers, finishing with a zesty lift. The blend is 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% SĂ©millon. The alcohol is 13%."

99 PUNKTE für einen Referenz-Weißwein, das hätten wir DANIEL CATHIARD doch so sehr gewünscht, es zu erleben, es war ihm leider nicht mehr gegönnt. Der Wein und das Gut allerdings werden weiterleben und seinen Namen in die Welt der Weinfreaks tragen. Dieser 90% Sauvignon Blanc mit je 5% Semillon und Sauvignon Gris wurde zwar leider mit lediglich 18hl/ha gelesen. Der Wein aber war derart komplex, saftig, schmatzig, mit Säure und dieser sexy Smith-Barrique-Note, eingerahmt in einen Fruchtkorb und gewürzt mit Mineralik, wow, was für ein Weißwein. Well done Daniel!

Jeb Dunnuck: Bright citrus and orchard fruit, mint, and some spicy wood all emerge from the 2025 Château De Fieuzal Blanc, a serious Pessac-Léognan blanc based on 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon, with the Sémillon aged in new barrels and the Sauvignon Blanc raised in once-used barrels. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a nicely concentrated, balanced mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and a great finish."

Wine Advocate: The 2025 de Fieuzal, harvested between September 4 and 26, is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. It wafts from the glass with aromas of cassis, mulberries, wisteria and flowers. Medium- to full-bodied, layered and precise, it’s built around a fleshy core of fruit framed by velvety, finely grained tannins and concludes with a long, ethereal and perfumed finish. More structured than usual, it remains well balanced, supported by lively acidity and a subtle, gastronomic bitterness on the finish. It's a classical expression and one of the more compelling values in Bordeaux this year."
