Decanter: Wild flowers, bramble fruit, dark blackcurrants and a lick of cocoa powder and cinnamon spice. Supple and alive, wow, this is excellent, the juicy quality is flawless with filling tannins that give amplitude and width but no overt muscle or heaviness. Really a light touch in the glass, hands off. Very modern, not lacking anything, I have a real soft spot for this wine and it delivers again with such great quality-to-price ratio. Charming, sophisticated, grippy, fleshy, but so cool and so juicy. The purity is outstanding. I love it. Blueberries, fragrant raspberries and cherries with plums. Classic and so drinkable."

Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Preiselbere, Cassis, Brombeerblätter, Milchschokolade. Etwas Karamell vom Holz. Der Gaumen ist stoffig getragen, sehr dicht, dabei mit guter Proportion, wirkt recht präszise, die Mineralität ist durchdringend, die jahrgangstypische Trockenheit ist nur sehr gering ausgeprägt. Ein kraftvoller, und in sich komplett."
