Relatively quiet with some oak, tobacco and cedar touches just adding a spiced layer above everything else right now but there’s finely textured tannins and a long finish. Full of fruit but with clear oak. Plenty of tannic heft but this will round out nicely."

Jeb Dunnuck: An impressive Margaux from this estate, the 2025 Château Rauzan-Gassies reveals red and black fruits, spicy wood, and meaty, savory, and herbal nuances on the nose. It's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with terrific concentration, ripe, nicely integrated tannins, and outstanding length. I suspect this is up with the finest vintages from this château."
