Decanter: Floral fragrance, lots of purple flowers on the nose with aromatic blue and black berry fruit. Supple and so creamy, this is just gorgeous from the get go, smooth and round, crushed velvety in texture with a slight grip, slight bounce and slight tension. The juicy content is just so great, pure, crystalline, a lick of salty, wet stone, slate, oyster shell. Very Pauillac in the undertone of mint, Cab liquorice and tobacco but so elegant. I love it. A yield of 24hl/ha. Ageing 50% new oak maximum."

Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Pichon Comtesse Reserve sails out with energetic notes of fresh blackberries, black raspberries, and red currant preserves, followed by hints of forest floor, crushed rocks, and wild thyme. The light- to medium-bodied palate is delicate and refreshing with lively red and black fruit layers and a chalky finish. The blend is 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot, and 4% Cabernet Franc. It has a pH of 3.7 with a TPI of 66 and the alcohol is 13%."
