Jane Anson: Pumice stone, grilled bright fruits, so much character, a deliciously slow crawl across the palate, and so juicy at the same time, blood orange, pomegranate, moreish. 60% new oak. Harvest September 9 to 20, low ph of course on this high limestone plateau, love the energy that this wine gives you. 3.2ph (at harvest, now 3.4ph), Noémie Durantou winemaker."

Decanter: Supple and fleshy with a chewy and bright aspect. Lots of fun on offer here with plenty of personality - ripe yet also freshly picked, just shy of tart strawberries, cranberries and red cherries. Clean and mineral on the finish with a wet stone element that lingers. Friendly, clean, focused yet still with intensity of fruit and push. A fine showing - zippy and alive, very balanced and refreshing. A yield of 38hl/ha. Ageing 60% new oak."

Jeb Dunnuck: Red and blue fruits intermixed with graphite, violets, and lead pencil-like nuances all define the 2025 Château Montlandrie, a wonderfully pure, medium-bodied Castillon from hillside parcels and more clay-rich soils. Harvested between September 9th and 20th, it has ripe, polished, yet building tannins, terrific overall balance, and a deep purple hue that hints at its concentration and depth."

Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Schwarze Kirschen, Brombeerkonfit, feine Edelholzwürze, einladendes Bukett. Kraftvoll, saftig, reife Brombeeren, reife Tannine, schokoladiger Abgang, gute Länge, ein feinwürziger Speisenbegleiter."

The Wine Cellar Insider: Chocolate, flowers, and plum aromas open the wine. On the medium-bodied palate, it takes only a moment to discover its round-textured, fleshy, concentrated charms, leaving you with creamy-tannins, touches of forest herbs, tobacco, cocoa and chocolate-covered cherries in the finish. Give it a year or two in the bottle, and enjoy it for the next 15-20 years. The wine blends 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Cabernet Franc. 14.5% ABV. Drink from 2029-2045."

James Suckling: A well-structured, driven red with plenty of focus. Medium- to full-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Well framed and compact in the finish."
