Decanter: Gorgeously pure blackcurrants and black cherries, so precise and fragrant on the nose - really intense and expressive. Sumptuous and succulent, this has a great juiciness with plenty of life and energy. Tannins are prominent and filling but soft and velvety not dry at all. Feels well made."

The Wine Cellar Insider: Blackberries, black cherries, chocolate-mint, flowers, wet earth, and licorice create the perfume. On the palate, the wine is supple, sweet, round, and juicy. Packed with ripe, lush cherries, the bright, elegant finish feels as good as it tastes. Give it a few years in the bottle, and it will be ready to go, though, it is important to note that wine has the potential to age for 2-3 decades with ease. The wine blends 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot. 13% ABV. Harvesting took place September 8 - September 23. Yields were low at only 23 hectares per hectare. Drink from 2029-2055."

Jane Anson: This is very clearly in the spirit of the vintage but manages to deliver depth and succulence, good balance, leafy blackcurrant and raspberry character, saffron and black pepper and freshly cut herbs. Harvest September 8 to 23. 40% new oak. 23 hl/ha. Yield 22 hl/ha"

James Suckling: Solid, well made and chalky, with dark berry, dried herb and warm spice aromas. Medium- to full-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Persistent finish."

Jeb Dunnuck: Deep purple-hued, the 2025 Château Marquis De Terme sports a rich, powerful nose of black fruits, smoke, ripe blueberries, iron, and chocolate. Based on 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot that will spend 14-16 months in 40% new French oak, it's full-bodied on the palate, with a round, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. Checking in at 13% alcohol, it's a powerful expression of this château that still holds onto a solid sense of purity and balance. Notably, this is the first vintage for winemaker Paloma Sénéclauze."

Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.

Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Marquis de Terme sashays out with fragrant notes of kirsch, dried roses, and red currant preserves, followed by hints of cloves and menthol. The medium-bodied palate is elegant and refreshing with pure red berry layers and grainy tannins defining the finish. The blend is 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot. The alcohol is 13%."
