Decanter: Floral-edged black cherries and blackcurrants on the nose, leading to a round and alive palate that is fun and charming from the off. Juicy strawberries and red cherries with a soft bounce to the expression, the tannins are generous but soft and just shy of chewy, giving this immediate appeal. Clean, sophisticated and so enjoyable with lovely soft mineral grip on the finish. I really like this - simple but so well done and should offer great value. 3.3 pH"

Jeb Dunnuck: A Merlot-dominant blend of 97% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc that's being raised in 50% new oak, the 2025 Château Le Prieure is a ripe, sexy Saint-Émilion with wild strawberries, framboise, smoky tobacco, graphite, and that classic minerality of the region on the nose. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it's round, textured, and balanced, with ripe tannins and a great finish. It's another ripe yet fresh, pure Right Bank with loads of character."
