Ripe red and black fruits, savory herbs, Asian spice, and lead pencil nuances all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied on the palate, with solid mid-palate depth, ripe yet present tannins, and the concentrated, straight style of the vintage. It has beautifully balanced richness and should need just a few years of bottle age to shine."
