Falstaff: Dunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, dezente Randaufhellung. Frische Herzkirschen, Mandarinenzesten, floraler Touch, rotes Waldbeerkonfit unterlegt. Saftig, elegant, feine Extraktsüße, reife Tannine, frisch und bereits gut entwickelt, verfügt über sehr gute Länge, sicheres Zukunftspotenzial, sehr charmanter Stil."

James Suckling: A driven, focused and long 100% merlot showing red berries, red cherries and some warm spices on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied with fine tannins. Refined, velvety and caressing texture despite the mid-palate energy and drive. Flavorful, lingering finish."

Jane Anson: Juicy black fruits, mandarin peel and liquorice root, poise and personality, sidesteps the tart grip of the vintage by layering it with cassis and spice, and will further soften over ageing. Its track record suggests you can rest easy for this to resolve over ageing. Harvest September 1 to 13. 50% new oak"

Wine Advocate: The 2025 Lafleur-Gazin shows promise, wafting from the glass with notes of minty cherries, cassis and licorice, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, polished and charming palate that's fleshy, seamless and already nicely integrated."

Jeb Dunnuck: A beautiful, layered Pomerol, the 2025 Château Lafleur-Gazin is all Merlot resting in 50% new barrels. Ripe red and black fruits, savory herbs, Asian spice, and lead pencil nuances all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied on the palate, with solid mid-palate depth, ripe yet present tannins, and the concentrated, straight style of the vintage. It has beautifully balanced richness and should need just a few years of bottle age to shine."

The Wine Cellar Insider: Flowers, mint leaf, and chocolatey raspberries hit your aromatic senses easily. The palate is even better, with its expression of soft, silky, sweet red-pit fruits, berries, and chocolate. The supple, mildly spicy, lifted finish seals the deal. This will be open for pleasure in just about a year or two after release and will age for 12 to 15 years or more with ease. The wine is produced from 100% Merlot. Drink from 2029-2050."
