The Wine Cellar Insider: Violets, iris, cherries, currants, raspberries, and white flowers create the aromatic profile. The palate is sensuous, silky, creamy, and vibrant. There is a sweetness, and purity to the fruits, with a touch of crushed rocks, and stones in the finish. The wine blends 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot. 12.5% ABV. Drink from 2029-2055."

Decanter: Gorgeous fragrance, so floral and expressive, really very Margaux - some dark chocolate and liquorice. Smooth and sappy with something really friendly and charming about this, bright and supple, not too high acidity, really refined with a delicate purity to the fruit on the mid-palate - blueberries and cherries - with a salty, grippy undercurrent. Ageing will round this out with more integration but there’s a lot of joy to be had. Good balance and long! 4% Petit Verdot completes the blend. Ageing 35% new oak."

Jeb Dunnuck: A charming, supple wine, the 2025 Château Labégorce is based on 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot that's being raised in 30% new French oak. Its deep ruby/plum hue is followed by a lovely bouquet of red and blue fruits, spicy herbs, and tobacco with nicely integrated oak. On the palate, it's round and textured, with supple tannins and outstanding length."

Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Reife Zwetschken, Brombeerkonfit, kandierte Orangenzesten, zarte Kräuterwürze. Saftig, mittlere Komplexität, etwas Nougat, mineralisch im Abgang, feiner Gerbstoff im Nachhall, braucht noch Zeit."

Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Labégorce rocks up with expressive notes of red currants and raspberries, giving way to hints of pencil shavings, lilacs, and underbrush. The light-bodied palate is soft and bright with juicy red berry flavors and a refreshing, fragrant finish. The blend is 40% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, and 6% Cabernet Franc."
