James Suckling: Herbal and angular, combining nerve, freshness, texture and volume, giving length and flesh with a hint of salt. A blend of 60% sauvignon blanc and 40% semillon, aged half in new oak and half in first use."

Decanter: Grapefruit, peach, lemon and ripe apple aromas on the nose with some white peach blossom too. Lightly presented and less fruit-filled but with cool and creamy vanilla, oily citrus and orchard fruit plus a clean, fresh smoky and flinty finish. Unfussy, not the most complex and lacking a little more fruit push but there’s precision and clarity here. I like the very hands-off, transparent nature. Ends a bit oaky. 3.3pH. A yield of 20hl/ha on 1.42ha. Ageing 100% in barrels (50% new, 50% second fill)."

Lisa Perrotti-Brown: The 2025 La Tour Carnet Blanc zips out of the glass with vibrant notes of fresh grapefruit and green apples, leading to suggestions of wet pebbles, elderflower, and brine. The medium-bodied palate is crisp and bright with a pure, zesty finish. The blend is 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Sémillon. The alcohol is 13.5%."
