Jeb Dunnuck: A Merlot-heavy blend of 73% Merlot and 27% Cabernet Franc that's being raised in 50% new barrels, the 2025 Château La Serre has gorgeous aromatics of black raspberry, cassis, spring flowers, and tons of chalky minerality. It's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with classy integrated oak, ripe yet building tannins, and integrated acidity. It's a beautiful wine from this team that is well worth seeking out."

Jane Anson: Measured and skillfully handed grip and tension, with expansion through the mid palate - an elusive quality on limestone in this vintage. Juicy and finessed, with a great whack of pumice stone, and as it opens there is a mint freshness and lift that is totally delicious. A limestone junkie's wine however, be warned! Harvest September 5 to 19. 50% new oak."

On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, bright, sweet, fresh, and silky, with black cherries, plums, herbs, and a hint of chocolate to round things out. Cool and fresh from the off - blueberries and black cherries - this has a supple texture with lovely bouncy tannins and a cool, crisp vein running through the middle.
