Jeb Dunnuck: Honeyed peach, minty herbs, and flowers all define the 2025 Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc, a brilliant white based on 64.5% Sauvignon Blanc and 35.5% Sémillon that's being raised in 30% new oak, which is slightly less than in past vintages. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it's incredibly pure and focused, with juicy acidity and a great finish. It's an absolutely stunning wine that pretty much stopped me in my tracks. Drink 2026-2050."

Wine Advocate: The La Mission Haut-Brion 2025 Blanc, a blend of 64.5% Sémillon and 35.5% Sauvignon Blanc, was vinified in barrels and bottled from April 13. It reveals a pure, crystalline bouquet that is both fresh and lightly exotic, with notes of ripe white fruits, jasmine, linden and verbena. Medium- to full-bodied, dense and enveloping, it’s layered yet vibrant and built around a fleshy core of fruit, supported by bright acidity and elegant tension. Ethereal and finely detailed, it is remarkable in its ability to retain freshness despite the warmth of the vintage. This is one of the most complete expressions of the wine in recent years, combining both density and brightness, and among the finest white wines produced in Bordeaux this year."

Decanter: Both baked and freshly picked apple scents on the nose with clementine, lemon blossom, a touch of apple pie, cinnamon and some soft vanilla notes - smells glorious. Bright and sharp with real energy, focus and zing from the start, such a juicy citrus mid-palate before slightly lengthening and straightening out with a bitter pineapple and stony edge. I love the energy here, focused and racy with clear definition from start to finish. Ageing will add a bit more weight but this is very good, extremely precise and poised with plenty of fruit and lift. Lovely. Pineapple tang. 3.2pH. A yield of 23hl/ha."

Lisa Perrotti-Brown: The 2025 La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc rockets out of the glass with intense scents of fresh pineapple and green mango, giving way to nuances of lemongrass, wet pebbles, and honeysuckle with a waft of coriander seed. The full-bodied palate delivers electric tension with vibrant tropical fruit and citrus layers and a long, chalky finish. The blend is 35.5% Sauvignon Blanc and 64.5% Sémillon. The alcohol is 14.5%. This was aged in French oak barrels (31% new). This was tasted as a bottled wine."
