James Suckling: A delicious white that’s textural, balanced and attractive, with aromas of stone fruit and flowers. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity. Salty, savory, delicate and precise, with a long finish."

Lisa Perrotti-Brown: The 2025 La Louvière Blanc hops from the glass with ready-to-go notes of yellow apple, grapefruit, and pineapple, plus hints of wet slate and cedar. The medium- to full-bodied palate is intense with citrus and orchard fruit layers, defined by a crisp line, finishing long and steely."

Decanter: Also tasted with Jacques Lurton on Friday the 18 April at Château La Louvière, this wine is bright, energetic, and driven by appealing vivacity: lift and precision. While the layered complexity of Domaine de Chevalier remains difficult to surpass, this dry white impresses with seamless texture and undeniable smoothness, due in part to regular stirring of the lees. The profile leans toward fresh pear albeit more restrained than sister estate Château Rochemorin, yet more transparently Sauvignon Blanc in character. Notably, Sémillon has been replanted and will contribute to future blends, Lurton explained."
