James Suckling: A crunchy and savory red with blackberry, black cherry and dark mushroom aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with juicy tannins and a fresh and forest-like aftertaste. Decanter: Really dark aromatics with liquorice and cola, some graphite elements, cool crushed stones, fragrant blackcurrants and purple flowers. Crystalline and grippy with wet stones, lots of graphite, flint, iron and blood orange. You can feel the gravel in the wine, very terroir transparent but smooth with dark chocolate and vanilla edges. Cool and juicy with elegance, clarity and focus. A touch stalky. 3.69pH. A yield of 22hl/ha. Ageing 11 months, 50% concrete tanks, 35% demi-muids, 15% new barrels."
