James Suckling: Structured yet refined, with polished tannins that run the length of the wine. Dark berries, smoke and cedar on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with very integrated tannins. Classy second wine from Haut Brion."

Vinum: Verführerisch, florale, dunkle Beeren, Kirschen, Minze, kühler Kamin; wuchtiger Auftakt, rund, opulent, die Frucht ist knackig, die Säure ausgezeichnet dosiert, feinmaschiges Tannin, rotfruchtiges Finish. Ausgezeichnet!"

Decanter: Alive and bright, laser sharp and super focused. While the acidity is high it stays in balance with the fresh, crisp fruit and fine but slightly firm tannins. Really cool with no hint of sun or overripeness, crystalline purity and a lick of salty graphite and flint on the finish. Quite a serious wine - sophisticated and well presented with an enjoyable juicy core that brings you back for more. Ends clean. Love this."

Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, dezente Randaufhellung, zartes Cassis, Veilchen, Mandarinenzesten unterlegt. Saftig, frische Beerenfrucht, lebendig strukturiert, mineralisch und gut anhaftend, ein harmonischer Begleiter bei Tisch, bereits zugänglich, saliner Abgang."

Jeb Dunnuck: Ripe red and black fruits, scorched earth, graphite, and smoky tobacco all emerge from the 2025 Le Clarence De Haut-Brion, the second wine of Haut-Brion. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has chewy, focused, firmer tannins, beautiful balance, and a great finish. It has plenty of classic Pessac class and character."
