Decanter: Ripe black fruit with liquorice, tobacco and cedar aromas. Sleek and polished, this has both a brightness and subtle power to it. Oak is on show as expected, giving a slightly toasted edge to the pure berry fruit but the tannins are beautifully positioned and integrated. High acidity carries to the long finish. A little firm and tight still, but really well made with poise and finesse. Polished! Yield of 33hl/ha. Ageing 20% stainless steel, 80% in barrels."

Am sublimen Gaumen mit seidiger Textur, engmaschigem Tanningerüst, balancierter Rasse und trainiertem Körper. Im gebündelten, aromatischen Finale ein Korb mit roten Kirschen, hellem Tabak und feinkörniger Adstringenz. Hat für mich ein neues Level erreicht!"
