Wine Advocate: The 2025 de Fieuzal, harvested between September 4 and 26, is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. It wafts from the glass with aromas of cassis, mulberries, wisteria and flowers. Medium- to full-bodied, layered and precise, it’s built around a fleshy core of fruit framed by velvety, finely grained tannins and concludes with a long, ethereal and perfumed finish. More structured than usual, it remains well balanced, supported by lively acidity and a subtle, gastronomic bitterness on the finish. It's a classical expression and one of the more compelling values in Bordeaux this year."

Jeb Dunnuck: Ripe black cherries, assorted blue fruits, graphite, and freshly sharpened pencil notes all define the 2025 Château De Fieuzal, a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 10% Petit Verdot that's being raised in 40% new French oak with the balance in once-used barrels and 10% amphora. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a concentrated, layered mouthfeel, remarkable purity, and a great finish. The purity and quality of the tannins are first-rate, and this is a brilliant Pessac-Léognan in the making."

Jane Anson: Grilled cedar and sandalwood, characterful damson fruits, with some of the squid ink salinity that is such a lovely marker of ripe Cabernet Sauvignon on the Left Bank of Bordeaux. Harvest September 4 to 26. Quinn family owners."

Decanter: Ripe red and blackberry fruit aromas introduce a palate with freshening acidity that in this case enhances the impression of juicy, succulent fruit, not hard tannins. The finish is long and flavorful, reinforcing the wine’s balance between ripeness and energy, making it a compelling en primeur showing. A second tasting at Château Olivier the same day found the wine a touch tighter and more reserved, but the underlying quality and harmony remain clear."

Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 de Fieuzal Rouge jumps from the glass with exuberant notes of fresh blackberries and wild blueberries, plus suggestions of violets, anise, and tar. The medium-bodied palate delivers a firm structure of grainy tannins and bold freshness with bags of black and blue fruit flavors, leading to a nice, long finish. Impressive!"

Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.

The Wine Cellar Insider: Flowers, espresso, black and dark red pit fruits and berries define the nose. On the palate, the wine is perfectly balanced between lush, and lively. The fruits are soft sweet, and polished, with the right touch of mineral essences, and zesty spices on the backend. The wine blends 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 10% Petit Verdot. 13% ABV. Drink from 2028-2045."
