James Suckling: A fruity, well-built red with purple fruits, flowers and herbs on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied with plush tannins. Compact finish."

Jane Anson: An impressive Fronsac, silky, with grip, lift, and energy, and a sweetness that you don't always get on limestone in this vintage. Enjoyable, easy to recommend, great stuff. The limestone kicks in on the finish, with a vice like grip, but by then you are seduced by the chocolate and rose petals. 20% whole bunch fermentation, Hubert de Boüard consultant."
