Decanter: A most successful wine whose aromas evoke ripe black fruit with a touch of reduction. The palate constitutes an appealing combination of smoothness, ripeness, and freshness as drawn from a healthy yield of around 37 hl/ha. Notably juicier than many other Pessac-Léognan reds in its price range, the palate offers a supple, flowing texture shaped by gentle extraction with already well-integrated tannins. Despite its concentration, the wine retains characteristic 2025 vintage freshness: an excellent achievement in terms of generosity, linear focus and drinkability."

Jeb Dunnuck: A Cabernet-dominant blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot from sandy and clay-gravel soils, the 2025 Château Couhins sports a deep ruby/plum hue as well as beautiful cassis and plum fruits, classic Pessac-Léognan scorched earth, graphite, and sappy, leafy herbs on the nose. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with a concentrated, focused, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and outstanding length."
