Ausgezeichnet."

Decanter: Lovely bright pink colour in the glass. Vivid and vibrant. Smooth and succulent, velvety soft with bright acidity. Gorgeous texture with balance and harmony. Giving plenty of power and push but nothing over the top. Lovely layering and nuance - there’s definite strength here - sunny fruit, liquorice and cedar spice, fresh mint but all combined so harmoniously. A wine to watch. Crystalline. Yield 32hl/ha. Ageing 20 months, 50 new oak barrels, 50% amphora."

Jeb Dunnuck: The 2025 Clos Saint-Martin is one of the sexier, more pleasure-bent beauties in the lineup, and it delivers in spades. Cassis, plums, spicy wood, and candied violet notes define the aromatics, and on the palate, it's big, ripe, and full-bodied, with a plush, layered mouthfeel and sweet, velvety tannins. It has tons of sweet fruit and an unctuous, opulent character that's hard to resist."

James Suckling: A focused and refined red with blackberry, dark plum and cool stone character. Medium-bodied with firm, fine tannins and a crisp finish. Refined is the word."

Jane Anson: Always an enjoyable estate to taste, firm and tight in its tannic architecture, plenty of lift and grip, smoky oak, campfire and grilled almond, cold ash, highly savoury, and the coffee-laced finish is impactful. You need to trust this over ageing - track record suggests giving it the benefit of the doubt. One to follow. Harvest September 27 to October 4. 50% new oak. 32 hl/ha. Tasted twice."

Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Clos Saint-Martin bursts with pronounced notes of preserved plums and baked black cherries, plus nuances of cedar chest, pencil lead, and Chinese five spice, with a waft of tobacco. The medium- to full-bodied palate delivers chewy tannins and a crisp line with savory-laced baked black fruit flavors and a firm finish."
