James Suckling: A well-composed, seductive and textured red with bright red fruit character on the nose. Medium-bodied with fine tannins. Savory finish."

The Wine Cellar Insider: Medium-bodied, fresh, and smoky, the wine is packed with sweet, lifted cherries and plums, with nuances of tobacco, herbs, spices, and red berries. Soft-textured, forward, and charming, you can begin enjoying this with ease on release. Drink from 2029-2045."

Jane Anson: Coffee, cocoa bean, a good job of showing a more gourmet side of the vintage, firm tannic frame, this is intense and concentrated, with a creamy mid palate. Jean-Christophe Mau owner."

Decanter: Chocolate and floral aromas, quite expressive with a rich, ripe aspect to the black fruit - great colour and aromas from the Cabernets. Bright and zingy verging on tart but with a crisp blueberry aspect and the acidity at the fore backed by crisp red fruit and a crushed stone texture. It’s a little lean and straight with crushed stones on the finish. Ageing should round this out and soften the edges. I like the cool overall feeling, fresh and lifted, nothing heavy here, just missing a touch more plushness but the focus and precision is there. Ends with liquorice, clove and cedar spice. A yield of 28hl/ha. 3.64pH. 78 IPT. 65% grand vin production. Ageing 14 months, 30% new oak, first vintage with some staying in stainless steel vats 40% and 30% one wine barrels."

Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.
