James Suckling: Aromatic and already expressive, sharp and minerally, with a vibrant, stony, nervy texture. It shows dimension and freshness. A blend of 75% sauvignon blanc and 25% semillon. Ample, but also tight and well balanced."

Decanter: Crisp and cool peach with apple, straw and jasmine. Round and lively, a lovely charming, generous and welcoming aspect to this. A lovely dollop of soft sweetness - some pineapple but not overly tropical - with nuanced flavours including flint, crushed stones and mint. The little residual sugar (2g instead of 1g normally due to difficulties finishing the alcoholic fermentation) helps round this out adding complexity and fun. A touch of Sauternes blanc sec about it. Really enjoyable but still fresh and zippy. Mouthwatering, succulent and clean. Really nice, ends pure and focused. Not massively long but there’s a really careful control to this. 3.31pH. Ageing eight months, 50% new, 50% one wine. Harvested on 27 August later than many to push the maturity."

Falstaff: Helles Gelbgrün, Silberreflexe. Verhalten, frische Wiesenkräuter, weiße Fruchtnuancen, zitroniger Touch. Kräftig, saftig, reife Mangofrucht, zarter Blütenhonig, mineralisch und gut anhaftend, ein balancierter, stoffiger Speisenbegleiter."
