Wine Advocate: The 2025 Bourgneuf continues this estate's rapid upward trajectory. Unwinding in the glass with notes of sweet blackberries, spices and truffle, it's medium- to full-bodied, dense and layered, with a broad, unctuous attack, excellent concentration and a long, resonant finish. This nine-hectare estate is situated below Trotanoy (one block touches the rear of the château) on clay-rich gravels."

Jeb Dunnuck: Pure red and black fruits, smoky tobacco, chocolate, hints of lead pencil, and violets all define the 2025 Château Bourgneuf, a beautiful Pomerol based on 92% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied and balanced, with ample mid-palate depth, nicely integrated oak, and a great finish. It's a nicely concentrated, elegant Pomerol. Tasted multiple times with consistent notes."

James Suckling: Broad and medium- to full-bodied yet focused, with good concentration and an almost grainy texture, showing dark fruit and a touch of asphalt. 92% merlot and 8% cabernet franc."

Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.

Jane Anson: I always have high expectations for Bourgneuf, and for second year in a row (for very different reasons) I am hesitating over the wine in the glass. There is plenty of fruit here, but it is high concentration of oregano, fig and cherry pit , with espresso and cocoa bean. impressive and intense, just needs a little more light. One to retaste in bottle. Harvest September 4 to 12. 35% new oak for ageing."

Jancis Robinson: Glowing mid crimson. Rich and seductive with an unexpected floral aroma as well as the sweet black fruit. Open and aromatic. Refined, dry tannins and excellent freshness. Chewy for now but it's all in balance."
