Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2025 Berliquet hops from the glass with vivacious notes of wild blueberries and black raspberries, opening out to a fragrant undercurrent of peonies, star anise, and wild sage with a touch of tilled loam. The medium- to full-bodied palate is bright as a penny with a crisp line and very fine-grained tannins supporting the tightly wound blue and black fruit layers, finishing with a skip in its step. The blend is 61% Merlot and 39% Cabernet Franc. The alcohol is 14% with a pH of 3.44. It will age 16-18 months mainly in French oak, 38% new, with 23% amphorae. Yields were 42 hl/ha."

Wine Advocate: A blend of 61% Merlot and 39% Cabernet Franc, the 2025 Berliquet is the best wine to emerge from this ascendent property yet. Bursting with aromas of sweet dark berries, licorice and violets, it's medium- to full-bodied, rich and suave, with beautifully refined tannins, lively acids and a seamless, complete profile. The estate's new winery, inaugurated with the 2023 vintage, permits harvesting block by block with greater precision. Readers who haven't been following Berliquet's progress should make a special effort to seek out the superb 2025."

Jeb Dunnuck: A Merlot-led blend of 61% Merlot and 39% Cabernet Franc, the 2025 Château Berliquet is currently resting in 38% new barrels with 23% in amphora. The nose shows incredibly pure red and black fruits, chocolaty herbs, graphite, and classic Saint-Emilion minerality. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, pretty, pure, and elegant, with fine-grained tannins, moderate concentration, nicely integrated acidity, and a solid finish. It's pure, polished, and just flawlessly balanced. Checking in at 14% alcohol with a pH of 3.5, the 2025 might be the greatest Berliquet to date."

Decanter: Vivid pink colour in the glass, vibrant. Beautifully crystalline blackcurrant and violet scents, dried wild herbs on the nose, really expressive and detailed. Smooth and crisp, tangy but well balanced by salty, chalky tannins that have such clarity. There’s tension for sure - it’s quite streamlined but with freshness and coolness at the core. The Cabernet gives this focus and structure - you really feel it in the texture. Finessed, dense, juicy with a gorgeous salty, cola edge that really lingers. A very accomplished wine. 3.44pH. A yield of 42hl/ha."
