Lisa Perrotti-Brown: "Deep garnet-purple colored. Needs a fair bit of coaxing to unlock scents of baked blackberries and kirsch, leading to an undercurrent of tar, green peppercorns, and lavender oil. The medium-bodied palate delivers an impressive intensity of red and black berry flavors with a lively backbone and velvety tannins, finishing long and earthy."

James Suckling: "This shows pretty cherry, raspberry and orange aromas and flavors with medium body and a bright, vivid finish. An attractive balance of fine tannins and acidity. Juicy at the end. A blend of 70% merlot, 25% cabernet franc and 5% cabernet sauvignon."

Jeb Dunnuck: "Black raspberries, spring flowers, hints of blue fruits, and chalky minerality all emerge from the 2024 Château Faugères. Medium-bodied, juicy, and forward, with gorgeous purity and fine tannins, it has the fresher style of the vintage with outstanding length. Based on 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, it spends 12 months in French oak, 30% new."

Falstaff: "Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Zarte dunkle Waldbeerfrucht, ein Hauch von Preiselbeeren, feine Kräuterwürze, tabakig, ein Hauch von Orangenzesten. Straff, rotbeerig, lebendiger Säurebogen, feine, reife Tannine, mineralisch-salzig im Abgang, zeigt gutes Potenzial."
