James Suckling: "Very good, bright fruit with a floral edge to the red cherries and currants. A hint of paprika, white pepper and olives. Nicely balanced and structured, this has supple medium body and an extremely long finish. Juicy, pristine and firm. Lots of poise and beautiful fluidity. 94.5% cabernet sauvignon. From biodynamically grown grapes."

Weinwisser: "94.5 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 5 % Merlot, 0.5 % Cabernet Franc, 37 hl/ha. Verführerisches Parfüm, frische Alpenheidelbeere, zarter Veilchen- und Irisduft, edle Cassiswürze. Am energiegeladenen Gaumen mit seidiger Textur und perfekt polierten Tanninen, wird immer länger, engmaschiges Tanningerüst. Im konzentrierten Finale mit blaubeerigen Konturen, Grafit und feinkörniger Adstringenz."

Vinum: "Was für ein Duft, wie immer eine kleine Droge, ein Cabernet-Parfüm wie aus dem Bilderbuch, verspielt, kräuterwürzig, dunkelfruchtig; am Gaumen präzis, geschliffen, elegant, dieses Jahr mit deutlich weniger Muskeln als in den warmen Jahren, jedoch mit einer beeindruckenden Finesse; rotfruchtig im Finale, langanhaltend, frisch. Eine Margaux-Delikatesse sondergleichen."

Decanter: "Dark heady fragrance, rich notes of ripe blackcurrants, dark chocolate, tobacco and mint. Smooth and sapid, this has a great lift and life straight away - succulent and fleshy, chalky but also ripe, there’s a great sense of charm here. Filling and fruity. Tapers a little, just softening towards the finish but the aromatics continue for ages. This has structure and frame, not a light wine with plenty of character. I really like it. Feels accomplished with brightness and precision. A restrained touch with gorgeous salty stones and slate. A yield of 37hl/ha. Ageing 70% in new oak barrels, 30% in amphorae for 18 months. 3.75pH."

Jane Anson: "Lovely deep plum colour, this is very high Cabernet Sauvignon but this is an estate where they often goes high, (2021 vintage was even higher than this at 97%). Savoury, slim, floral, precise and vivid, salinity, grip, lovely sense of lift and grip. 3.75 pH. Harvest 23 September to 8 October. 37 hl/ha. 70% new oak, 30% in amphora."

Falstaff: "Dunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Fast zur Gänze aus Cabernet Sauvignon (94,5%), Nuancen von schwarzen Beeren, Cassis, frische Kirschen, kandierte Orangenzesten. Straff, rotbeerige Nuancen, gute Frische, angenehme Mineralität, balanciert und gut anhaftend, ein facettenreicher Speisenbegleiter mit Entwicklungspotenzial."
