ANSON: "Ruby red, medium intensity, grilled sandalwood and red liquorice, pocket of air running under these slim red fruits, limestone signature, with a lovely salty twist on the finish, and this is enjoyable, if a lighter styled Pressac. 40ha, Jean-François Quenin owner. First year of massal selection for Cabernet Franc, 8% amphora ageing, and 20% whole bunch fermentation on Merlot and Franc, 38hl/h yield (but with 25% going into a 3rd wine, so overall a very tight selection)."
