Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2024 Clos Saint-Martin comes from a tiny 1.36 hectares of vines and is 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It will spend 18 months in 80% new barrels and 20% in jars. Darker black cherries, scorched earth, graphite, and smoky tobacco notes all emerge from this beauty, and it's medium-bodied, has a pure, layered mouthfeel, ripe, polished tannins, and outstanding length. As with most 2024s, it's more about balance, finesse, and upfront charm than power and richness, and it's going to drink nicely right out of the gate."
