DECANTER: "Varietal nose, fully Sauvignon Blanc with green apple, elderflower and some lemon balm touches. Racy and alive, lean and steely but with sweet lemon sherbet, ripe apple and even some pineapple as well as small touches of orange bitterness. Great energy and focus and enjoyable peach fleshiness too - this is a really good wine. Juicy and succulent, the ripe fruit suggests a warm vintage, but there's plenty of cool and fresh elements too with no underripe accents. Already bottled. 3.12pH."

JEB DUNNUCK: "Bright citrus, pear, and honeyed flower notes all emerge from the 2023 Château Puygueraud Blanc, a juicy, medium-bodied, vibrant white that offers the sun-kissed fruit of the vintage while staying clean, crisp, and more mineral focused. It's a terrific white that will shine on the dinner table and drink well for a year or two."

LISA PERROTTI-BROWN: "The 2023 Puygueraud Blanc, already bottled, comes skipping out of the glass with bright, cheery notes of lemon drops, lime blossom, and green apples leading to suggestions of allspice and baking bread. The medium-bodied palate is crisp and refreshing, with compelling purity and a chalky finish. The blend is 79% Sauvignon Blanc and 21% Sauvignon Gris."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Green apples, white peach, orange rind, apricot, and pineapple nuances are at the core of this, bright, fresh, juicy, white Bordeaux. Lemon rind, white peach, and flowers on the nose get the wine going. The wine is sweet, juicy, creamy, and fresh on the palate, and in the finish. The wine blends 79% Sauvignon Blanc with 21% Sauvignon Gris. Drink from 2026-2030."
