JAMES SUCKLING: "The growth at the end is really pretty. Classic in structure. Medium-bodied with fine, crunchy tannins. Just a hint of salinity on the finish. 90% merlot and 10% cabernet sauvignon. 5% of the merlot was barrel-fermented."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Flowers, smoke, charcoal, black cherries, licorice, and black cherries form the nose, and the core of the wine's character on the palate. Forward, creamy, fresh, and uplifted, with a brightness to the red fruits, silky, soft, creamy textures, and cherries infused with licorice in the finish. Drink from 2027-2038."

VINUM: "Einmal mehr ein schöner Duft, floral, feinfruchtig, frisch anmutend; straff und vertikal am Gaumen, zeigt Rasse und Biss, knackige Frucht, feine Gerbstoffe; langes, feinwürziges, rotfruchtiges Finish. Etwas leichtfüssiger als im letzten Jahr, gefällt gut!"

DECANTER: "Ripe black cherry and plum aromas and flavours enchant in a round and smooth palate, with rather intense black cherry notes marking the medium finish. 100% vinification in barrel, balanced well enough although you do notice the toast and vanilla from the new oak. I like the Cabernet Sauvignon that lends needed structure, so let's see how it does once bottled."

Saftig, dezenter Dörrpflaumentouch, präsente Tannine, schokoladig im Abgang, Nugat auch im Nachhall, opulenterer Stil mit blättrigem Rückgeschmack."
