THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Licorice, black cherries, chocolate, espresso, and a sprig of mint produce the core of the nose, and palate here. The wine is round, medium-bodied, and polished,, with loads of chocolate-covered fruits in the finish. The wine is made from 90% Merlot, with 10% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2026-2036."

LISA PERROTTI-BROWN: "Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Lucia bursts with notes of wild blueberries and kirsch leading to an undercurrent of peonies, forest floor, and garrigue. The medium to full-bodied palate is plush and juicy, with rounded tannins and a fragrant finish. The blend is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc."
