WEINWISSER: "46 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 47 % Merlot, 6 % Petit Verdot, 1 % Cabernet Franc, 13 Vol.-%. Verführerisches blaubeeriges Bouquet, bezauberndes Veilchenparfüm, dunkles Edelholz und Szechuan-Pfeffer. Am straffen dichten Gaumen mit seidiger Textur, engmaschigem Tanninkorsett, stützender Rasse und kompaktem Körper. Im konzentrierten langen Finale edle Cassiswürze, dunkle Mineralik und feinmürbes Extrakt, Potenzialwertung."

DECANTER: "Floral notes on the nose. Rich and fleshy, a real chew to the crunchy and high toned strawberry and raspberry fruit here - lots of red cherry. Tannins are imposing though, really covering the mouth with lots of chalky minerality and soft salty powderiness. I like it, a little constricted on the finish, this will need lots of time, but I love the cooling blue fruit touch and the salinity all the way through. Fresh and lifted with lots of body and liveliness. 3.61pH. A yield of 49hl/ha. 1% Cabernet Franc completes the blend."

JAMES SUCKLING: "Very St.-Estephe with dark berry, mineral and fresh clove character. Medium body and firm tannins that follow through. Shows potential."

VINUM: "Cassisfrucht, kühler Kamin, Veilchen; straffer Gaumen, dicht, nicht schwerfällig, markanter Gerbstoff, knackige, rote Beerenfrucht, herbes Finale. Sehr appellationstypisch, darf etwas reifen."

JEB DUNNUCK: "Darker currants, lead pencil, smoked earth, and a hint of leather all emerge from the 2023 Château Le Boscq, a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, nicely balanced, focused 2023 that has ample mid-palate depth, ripe, integrated tannins, and the purity and vibrancy of the vintage. It’s a beautiful, clearly outstanding wine in the making."

FALSTAFF: „Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Zart tabakig-kräuterwürzig, etwas Lakritze und schwarze Waldbeeren, mineralischer Touch. Mittlere Komplexität, rote Kirschen, frisch strukturiert, mineralisch, etwas Nugat, bleibt haften, vielseitiger Speisenbegleiter."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Black currants, espresso, chocolate and tobacco leaf notes are all over the wine in the perfume, and on the palate. The wine is forward, soft, polished, and energetic, with a bright, yet, soft-textured finish. Drink from 2026-2040."
