Basile Tesseron, formerly with Château Lafon Rochet in St-Estèphe, has joined his wife and estate owner Bérangère Tesseron for their first vintage together at this estate. Major renovation work is planned this year in the cellars."

JEB DUNNUCK: "Reminding me of a great Saint-Estèphe, the 2023 Château Larrivaux has beautiful cassis and darker raspberry-like fruit as well as some smoky oak, violet, and damp earth-like nuances. Medium to full-bodied and ripe, with velvety tannins, it's a beautiful Haut-Médoc that has so much to love. I suspect it will be a smoking value as well."
