THE WINE ADVOCATE: "An attractive wine, the 2023 Fonréaud bursts from the glass with aromas of dark wild berries, spices, coniferous forest, licorice and flowers. Medium to full-bodied, lively and elegant, it has bright acids, a fleshy core of fruit and a delicate, penetrating and long finish. This blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot is a real success this year."

WEINWISSER: "55 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 40 % Merlot, 5 % Petit Verdot.

FALSTAFF: „Dunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.

JAMES SUCKLING: "This is firm and structured with slightly rough and chewy edges to it, yet it has lively and juicy fruit in the center-palate. Medium body. Shows freshness and good fruit concentration."

DECANTER: "With aromas of red cherry and bright fruit, the palate comes across tangy but bordering on tart, lacking the finesse of some of the more successful Médoc wines. However, barrel aging should soften matters, as the wine has mid-palate substance."
