LISA PERROTTI-BROWN: "Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Ferran Rouge leaps from the glass with spicy scents of cumin seed and Sichuan pepper followed by a core of black cherry preserves, dried sage, and juicy strawberries. The medium-bodied palate is plush and juicy, with plenty of bright berry flavors and freshness, finishing on a peppery note. The blend is 69% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 11% Petit Verdot."
