The Wine Cellar Insider: "Plums, chocolate, flowers, and black raspberries show with little effort in the perfume. On the palate, the wine is vibrant, elegant, upbeat, and fresh. The fruits are clean, pure, and long, with a juicy refreshing finish packed with with lingering dark chocolate, espresso, and black cherries, a touch of mint, and chalk in the finish. The wine blends 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a new style for Clos Saint Martin, with much less new oak, and a larger percentage of the wine aging in amphora. Drink from 2028-2041."
