James Suckling: "Attractive and fleshy white, mouth-filling and persistent, with a medium body and racy acidity. I like the harmony here and density in the center-palate. This is structured and framed nicely. 100% semillon."

Decanter: DECANTER:" Only 200 barrels made from this special 100% Sémillon wine, which combines opulence and focus as expressed in pulpy white stone fruit, honeysuckle, sweet herb, verbena and liquorice. A complex wine that will only gain from barrel ageing as the expression of the Sémillon is at this stage somewhat delicate and not as fleshy, but that will come over time."

Jeb Dunnuck: "The flagship white here, the 2023 Clos Des Lunes Lune D'Or Blanc is based on 100% Semillon, which is the first time this cuvée hasn't included Sauvignon Blanc. It has a richer, powerful bouquet of ripe citrus and stone fruits as well as spicy wood, honeyed flowers, and subtle toast. With medium to full-bodied richness, a beautifully balanced, elegant mouthfeel, and integrated acidity, it's a stunning white that readers will love to have."

Lisa Perrotti-Brown: "The 2023 Lune d'Or features subtle scents of lemon curd, lime blossom, and juicy pears that slowly emerge from the otherwise shy nose, followed by a waft of honey-drizzled white peaches. The medium-bodied palate is silky and intense, with perfumed citrus and pear flavors and a fragrant finish. This is 100% Semillon."
