DECANTER: "Nicely scented nose, full of black fruits, floral notes and soft herbal touches with some dried flowers, dark chocolate and graphite. Clean and crunchy, really crisp and delicate. Light, not heavy at all, but really finely layered. Seamless and so bright and fresh. Juicy and supple with a mineral, wet stone grip to the tannins the lingers on the finish. Clean, forward and focussed with a confident intensity. Really very good, so fine, and you really want another sip."

JAMES SUCKLING: "A solid Canon-Fronsac with chewy tannins, dark fruit and orange-peel undertones. It’s medium-bodied with rather muscular tannins and a juicy finish. Will it be better than 2022?"

VINUM: "Offen, duftig, florale Noten, reife rote Beeren, Schokolade; weicher Gaumen, cremige Textur, sehr ausbalanciert, mit guter Länge und salinem Finale. Beachtliche Qualität."

LISA PERROTTI-BROWN: "The 2023 Canon Pecresse is deep garnet-purple in color. Notes of blackberry pie, kirsch, and licorice leap from the glass, leading to hints of iris, forest floor, and wild thyme. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock full of lively berry flavors with a soft texture and refreshing line, finishing with a savory lift. This is nicely done!"
