James Suckling: "Solid Pomerol with chocolate and berries. Velvety and fine-textured tannins. Medium body. Fresh finish."

Decanter: "Potent and intense on the nose, forward and expressive. Smooth and supple on the palate, lovely agility but with grippy tannins that cushion the fruit and provide a wide structure for the wine. Dense but refined, weighty but not too much, with cool blue fruit touches and edges of florality throughout. Nicely worked with lots of energy and style. Tannins are grippy and hold the interest, needing to soften in the future, but this has clarity and nice detail. A bit more serious than some by the finish, the concentration and intensity showing through with subtle touches of liquorice, clove and toast. 2.2ha vineyard. Ageing 12 months, 50% new, 50% one wine barrels. Rolland & Associés consultants."
