JAMES SUCKLING: "Very attractive, crunchy dark fruit with medium to full body and spiced, chocolatey character. Firm and structured with velvety tannins and a lingering finish. Plenty of currant and hazelnut character."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "With notes of flowers, blackberries, black currants, and black raspberries on the nose, you get a concentrated, round, dark-fruited, rich wine with more of those sweet, juicy black fruits in the finish along with a hint of chocolate and spicy espresso that comes in at the end of the finish. The wine blends 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot. 13.5% ABV. Drink from 2025-2035."

THE WINE ADVOCATE: "The 2022 Sénéjac is one of the best wines that this northern Médoc cru Bourgeois has produced in the last decade or two. Offering up aromas of cherries, dark berries, peonies and pencil shavings, it's medium to full-bodied, velvety and succulent, with a rich core of fruit, supple tannins and a persistent finish."
