DECANTER: "Lovely aromatics, a touch floral, herbal and darkly fruited. Smells clean, fresh and lively. Gently chewy, succulent and mouthwatering, clearly quite tannic but they softly coat the mouth. You can tell the power underneath, the fruit feels a bit warm and toasted and it's a little strict but I like the intensity, feels strong but so fruity and pure. Forward, open and alive - a lovely salty tang gives the minerality, finishing clean and long. Cheerful. 50% production , 10% press. 3.8pH. Total acidity 3.35g/l. 4% Petit Verdot completes the blend."
